El pasado lunes 12 de noviembre el
Concejo de Jamundí se reunió en las instalaciones del recinto municipal para
cumplir a cabalidad con el nombramiento de la mesa directiva de esta
Corporación. Recordemos que esta elección ya se había realizado, pero fue
revocada luego de que se manifestará por parte del edil Fernando Calle de los
errores cometidos en la elección que se realizó el pasado martes 6 de
noviembre parecido al caso presentado en Dibuya, Guajira donde
fueron sancionados los Concejales al realizar este proceso sin ceñirse al
reglamento interno.
Así quedó
Llevada a cabo la votación se ractificó la misma
mesa directiva donde para la presidencia de la Corporación se postuló
como única candidata a la
Concejal de Cambio Radical Jenny Ávila, quien de 15 votos,
sacó positivos 14, absteniéndose de votar la Edil , Yamileth Balanta del partido Verde. Como
primer viceprecidente se eligió a Zandra Calambas Yule cumpliendo con lo que
demanda la ley 51 donde se especifica que ya no debe ser la representante de
las minorías sino del partido opositor al mandatario local. Así como también
Edinson López fue elegido como segundo vicepresidente, los dos anteriormente
mencionados con 15 votos. “Queremos dar mayor vicibilización y dignificación al
Concejo debido a que la administración no nos consideran importantes, buscamos
que nos respeten”, manifestó Jenny Ávila.
Llamado a funcionarios
La nueva mesa directiva tomará posesión el
próximo 2 de enero del 2013. La nueva presidenta del Concejo también agregó:
“Los funcionarios ya no responden a los llamados de control fiscal que les
hacemos y les pedimos también respeto”. A su vez concluyó, “queríamos dejar el
precedente que no somos lo mismo que el poder ejecutivo y que tampoco quiere
decir que no trabajaremos con ellos para sacar a Jamundí adelante”.
Para destacar: La nueva mesa
directiva se posesionará el próximo 2 de enero del 2013.
